My passion for social justice fuels my work in health equity as a professor of community health education, a birth and postpartum coach and doula, an effective media commentator and environmental activist as a diva urban farm educator and furniture flipper keeping items out of landfills. Dismantling white supremacy, patriarchy and capitalism is at the root of all of my work - whether I'm offering commentary in a news segment, teaching community health, pruning tomato plants, giving love to old furniture or supporting the divine experience of delivering a baby.
